My mother-in-law has normal breasts before but last dec 2017, she noticed that there s a pain in one of her breasts. From then on, one of her breasts grows larger than the other and normally is painful. We haven t consulted a doctor yet because she didn t want to. Can you help us confirm if she really has breast cancer? And how could we treat it?

How Can Breast Cancer Be Treated?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. She requires a clinical examination of breast followed by a mammogram. If required , then only a biopsy can be done to diagnose breast cancer. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
