My mother is 73 yrs old. She has cataract in both eyes. We went to check in two hospitals, one doctor suspects retinal dots and wants a scan to be done. The other one did not state any issues other than cataract? Both are retina specialist. Is it possible that these spots are visible for one and not for another? Both of them dilated the eye for examining.
No harm for doing scanning. Any way cataract is to be operated. Other investigation like routine blood test and dinettes and hyperventilation is Tobe ruled out.
