Hi, I have been exposed to carbon monoxide treated at minor emergency 10/28/2018 for respiratory infection. I was always tired and needed more sleep. Did not have detector at that time, but had been smelling what I thought was light gas fumes from pilot to furnace. I finally had someone check the furnace out that s when was told possible carbon monoxide or gas leaking in chambers of furnace no gas leak found in connections. Then it got really cold that means heat turned up. About week later I became really sick almost passed out 2 nights in a row. Just so happened the room across from where I sleep the window was cracked I came to the second morning after sleeping from 5pm to 8 am next day. I then went to emergency room where the doctor informed me chest inflamed treated with antibiotics, steroid and inhaler as well as breathing treatment he thought i smoked but has been over 12 yrs since smoked. I am 62 yrs old don t ever remember being this sick. I went to primary care doctor yesterday she took new xray that shows no fluid but chest still inflamed stated this may be permanent. Also breathing test showed 47%. I am now using inhaler and looking forward to complete healing. Is there some things I can do to help me come back I was forgetting things, thought having stroke or heart attack my legs were hurting even in my sleep. I have had all test for heart, venus ultasounds for legs, ekg they all cam back normal. Any information would be helpful I telework and don t get outside much but I am going to make effort to change that, thank you! Charlene McGregor
