How Can Chronic Fever Be Treated?

My Son is 1 year and 10 month old and since last five months he was and is often suffering from fever his blood report is following:- Haemoglobin 12, TLC 9400, Poly 31, Lympho 62, Eosino 02, Monocy 05, EsR (Wintrobe) 15, Widal Test S. Typhi o 1:160, Styphi H 1:80

Hi....y what you quote I feel that our son might be having a recurrent viral illness, which is quite common in this season and age group. The blood test is showing lymphocytes of 62 which is again suggestive of viral illness.
Fever of few days without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If the kid is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably viral illness and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration or recurrent or fever if the kid is active.
