How Can Chronic Spinal And Shoulder Pain Be Treated?

Hi Since November last year I have had chronic pain to the left of my spine and around the shoulder area. I see a physio every 2 weeks and do a range of exercises twice daily as advised by her. X rays have revealed nothing major associated with the spine or lungs. A Bence James test has been done and nothing revealed. Blood tests for rheumatic issues have come back all clear. An ergonomic assessment of my driving position and home office have also been done stipulating a change of car from manual transmission to automatic and a proper supportive chair has been provided for my office. I am taking anti inflamatory tablets and paracetomol which dont appear to help. Is there much more I can do? I am at my wits end. I am 49, male, have a good diet, gave up smoking earlier this year and apart from this am in good health. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks Tony.
