How Can Conjunctivitis Be Treated?

I am having an eye issue. Conjunctivitis that is not resolving after almost 3 weeks despite two rounds of steroids. I also have glaucoma and the steroids have pushed my iop into the 20 s. How do I know if the tearing, swelling, pain and grittinesss I a experiencing is from the conjunctivitis or a more serious issue loike open angle glaucoma?

An open angle glaucoma is painless and has no symptoms to show up. If the diagnosis is conjunctivitis, then we need to look at the causes which cause repeated infections, like a block in the tear drainage duct or even diabetes. Most common causes of conjunctivitis are viral so steroids usually have not much role in treatment. I can help you better if you share your slit lamp examination findings.
