How Can Cough, Chest Pain And Sneezing Be Managed?
I had cough, sneezing, minor sniffiling and chest pain for about 4-5 weeks. At first I would 1-2 a day get coughing attacks foe a few minutes and a sharp chest pain. I called Dr office and talked to a nurse after a couple weeks to go for Dr visit but she said it probably wasnt necessary. The cough is now just a minor one cough thing and the chest pains have become minor but am just checking. I have never smoked.
By your history and description, the possibility of post infectious bronchitis is more likely. Bronchitis (inflammation of airways) is common after viral upper respiratory tract infection.
It is usually self-limiting in 1-2 weeks. No need to worry now as your cough and chest pain is improving.
You will mostly improve with all these in the next 5-6 days. Maintain good hydration, do warm water gargles and steam inhalation 4-5 times a day. Don't worry, you will be alright.
