How Can Cough, Sore Throat, Nasal Bleeding And Laryngitis Be Treated?
i had a cold about a week ago and i was all over it. then about two days ago my throat started feeling gunky again and i have been coughing trying to clear it for the last few days and after a coughing fit i just threw up and then i got a nose bleed as i was throwing up. my nosebleed is gone now and i think my throat feels unclogged from mucas but i feel like i just got strangled like my lymphnodes are bruised or something and i can t speak at all?
The chronology of events indicates cold complicated into secondary infection, hence, got further symptoms with edema developing inside giving a feeling clogging. Excessive force of vomiting or trying to remove the phlegm can increase pressure inside nose thus causing nosebleed which has stopped fortunately.
I would advise you the following in such a situation: * Povidone iodine gargles * Decongestant nasal drops like Otrivin * Consult a doctor for clinical evaluation and get you started on prescription based antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines for symptomatic relief as well as for definitive treatment
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
