How Can Dark Line Due To Dry Lips Be Treated?
hello, I have recently had dry lips and forgot to apply vaseline. however the damage is i have been receiving dark lines above my lipline. and it looks very dark. is there any way I can reduce this discoloration ? or will it naturally go by itself. please reply. thank you for your patience

Hi,
It seems that you lick your lips to wet your dry lip. Licking the lip leads to cheilitis and change in colour above lip line. There is hypermelanosis in linear fashion above the vermillion border of upper lip.
Kindly follow as below..
- stop to lick the lip
- apply moisturiser cream on lip
- apply Kojic acid containing gel on dark line
- take vitamin C tablet 1gm daily
The dark line might fade gradually.
