How Can Degenerative Disc Disease Be Treated?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise. It s osteoporotic changes in spine that causes narrowing of intervertebral space leading to disc degeneration. Surgical correction by vertebral fixation is the only option in this case. Physiotherapy will only give temporary relief by improving paraspinal muscle strength. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards Dr. Hiren
