Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 67 and I am so messed up. I am so unhappy and no energy and no reason to keep going on at this rate. I use vaginal hormones twice a weeks to help bladder (I was told) I have chronic urethritis. But sex is impossible. I can t believe I have to feel this tired and unable to do anything for the rest of my life.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You do not need to feel this way. First you need to see a primary care doctor to make sure you are not anemic or have low thyroid. If all your blood work is normal then you may need to be on an antidepressant. It may also help you to see a counselor. Exercise, just walking, can also help with depression.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
