How Can Diffuse Thyroiditis Be Treated With These Thyroid Levels?

My T4is 1.93, and declining My T-SH is 0.010 and staying there. My scan showed diffuse thyroiditis. I am trying to see an endocrinologist, but Am told the wait time is up to 3 months even with a referral. I am feeling better, but am not pleased with the medical situation in Greenville, SC. Is there anything else I can do?

You may be suffering from auto immune or viral induced thyroiditis. May be stage of thyrotoxicosis or hyperthyroidism. Need symptomatic treatment. If palpitations or weakness present means need beta blockers. Please consult your doctor he will do thyroid scan, antibodies for thyroid peroxidase, anti thyroglobulin antibodies and treat you accordingly.
