Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Cause of dry eye is to be diagnosed. Can be deficient of tears, which can be diagnosed by a strip test or can be an autoimmune disorder. In any case artificial tear drops and lubricating agents like Tergel to be applied. Punctum dilatation and syringing is to be done. It can be confirmation if there is a block. If it is done with Methylene blue and x-ray is taken then block can be detected.

Hopefully this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
