How Can Edema In The Legs Be Treated?

Hello:gr MY both legs are filled with edema and I have had this problem from an early age. and I have been going to diff types of dr to fine out the problem but nobody has be able to tell me what the problem is or what I can do to help the sweeling go down? can you please tell me?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

You are having Edema leg on both side. Hence further investigations needed as follow...
_serum total protein estimation
_serum TSH estimation
_sgot, sgpt, urea, creatinine
_egfr

These investigations will help in rule out thyroid problem, kidney or liver disease if present Which can lead edema leg. Any cardiac history if presrnt than EKG should be done. According to the cause specific treatment given.
