How Can Elevated BP Levels, Nausea And Vertigo Be Treated In The Elderly?

My mother, who is 81, has been experiencing blood pressure spikes with systolic ranging from 135 to 168, as well as vertigo and nausea. She went to the ER a week ago and came home after her BP went down to 135, but I am concerned because her mother experienced many strokes. She is very thin, but hyperlipidemic.

Hi,

She may take antihypertensive better to take ace inhibitors.

Also, use antihyperlipidemic drugs. there's is a possibility of she will develop dementia in future.

Avoid high-fat diet, if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
