How Can Elevated Blood Glucose Levels Be Treated?

I am a heart patient on Coumadin Theapy and my glucose level is 134. As suggested by Dr. Axe on line I would like to star taking Magnisium and Chromium as a natural way to help bring down the glucose level, but I am finding out that since I take Coumadin I shouldnot take these minerals ?
