I am a 17 year old female. Recently, due to the summer heat and excessive sweating my nipples started to itch. I think i may have over itched them and some scabbing started to occur. I think my nipple has become infected and is now leaving this sticky residue that turns to crust on my bras, i try to keep my nipples clean, but keeping them dry is difficult because i must wear a bra during the day. I have no allergies that im aware of and im going to the doctor on monday i would just like to know right now. Thank You
In addition, I suggest you apply a topical steroid and oral antibiotic combination ointment e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% + 2% Mupirocin ointment.
In addition, I suggest you take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetirizine tablet once a day for symptomatic relief from itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
