How Can Extreme And Constant Knee Pain Be Managed When There Are Suspicions Of Arthritis?
Hi, I ve had extreme knee pain since August. Pain on inside of right knee. Constant pain. If I turn or swivel my leg/knee it will stop me in my tracks. Excruciating. My GP took x ray said it may be torn miniscus. Cartilage looks good. Referred me to an Orthopedic Dr. Same X ray. He said arthiritis. Cartilage very thin on the inside.Nothing can be done except a knee replacement down the road.Gave me a cortizone shot . Didn t help. Almost think it my miniscus.

How Can Extreme And Constant Knee Pain Be Managed When There Are Suspicions Of Arthritis?
Hello, I would recommend performing a knee joint MRI in order to examine better the meniscus and ligaments. Hyaluronic shots may help too. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
