How Can Extremely High Blood Pressure Be Treated?

My mother's bp has been high these last two days; it was 235/95 when we spent 3 hours at the doctor's office trying to correct her medication dosages but this morning it is still high at 176/72....should I take her to the ER to find out the best steps to take to help her reduce her pressure?

Thank you for your help.
