How Can Eye Floaters Be Treated?

Just this morning when I got up I had eye floaters in one eye. Squiggly thread like lines. But not I m having an occasional flash of light in the same eye. All has been in peripheral vision. What do you suppose all this is about? First time this has ever happened. I ve never had a migraine. Never had anything really.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Please get your Retina checked asap. A flash could sometimes be the sign of a retinal hole or tear and this could be a dangerous thing as it could lead to your Retina to detach.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
