Hi,

It can be scotoma, so fundus examination should be done. Media should be examined, field tracing should also be done. There is no treatment for floaters, only, they are to be kept under watch.

If there is a sudden increase in floaters, this can indicate imminent retinal detachment, holes tear or peripheral degenerative changes.

If detected peripheral degenerative changes can be fused by rays to avoid immediate future detachment. It is only floaters which can be confirmed by fundus examination.
