How Can Fear Of Vaginal Bleeding Due To Intercourse Be Alleviated?

Hi, I have been with my fiance for 4 1/2 years now and I want to have sex, but I am sooo scared. When I was 16 I had a pap and the doctor was SOOO rough! I even bleed after he gave me my pap, it hurt the entire day, so now it is affecting my sex life. I am terrified to even let my fiancee near my vaginal hole...Please help me! What can I do??

Hi,

(1) If you are very anxious you can try lignocaine gel, it will numb your vagina you can touch yourself and feel the numbness, slowly you can withdraw the lignocaine.
2. Talk to your partner regarding your issue, make him understand so he won't be rough on you, also you can use lubricating gel KY gel during sex.
3. Maintain proper hygiene.

If you still have fear then you may get vaginismus and need psychiatric counselling.
