How Can Femoral Condyle Fracture Rehabilitation Be Done?

Hi, I have a non displaced femoral condyle fracture, the injury came about through hyperextension during a football game. It is now nine weeks after fracture and all pain has subsided, what can I do to get back to playing football as soon as possible? Thanks James

Hi,

I have studied your case with diligence

You need to confirm union by x ray and then start physiotherapy and exercises.
I can help you better if you can attach x ray film and send to me directly.

You may need to take vigorous physiotherapy to avoid further stiffness.
Yes you can passively stretch fingers to avoid stiffness.

For sports you may need to wait for 4 weeks to avoid joint deformity.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
