How Can Floaters In The Eyes Be Treated?

I've had modest 'floaters' in my left eye since September 1st. Visited opthmologist 4x & was improving, Needed a bit more blood to clear out & then Doctor could see where the micro laser surgery would be ('ts not retina but back of eyeball)
Waking up on my 60th birthday they were worse (nice birthday present!!). 2 months later barely dissipating. Is this something that I have to give it time or could there be another problem, such as continued leakage of blood?

thank you,
