How Can Foot Nerve Pain With Swelling Be Relieved?

I ve been going to a foot specialist for nerve pain. I am not a diabetic. He has been giving me alcohol injections every two weeks since March.. Is there something else I can do to relieve the pain and swelling. I m on a water pill, and I exercise regularly. Any thoughts?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from probably Morten's metatarsalgia .You can analgesic such as diclofenac ,you can wear soft shoes. Permanent treatment of it is by excision operation by excising the abnormal nerve tissue. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
