Yes I had an endometrial ablation almost ten years ago ... three months later I noticed a foul vaginal odor ... I have yet to get rid of it. I ve been to two Gyno s to get checked for a slew of things and nothing is found. I have tried multiple things to rid of it. Nothing helps and I m literally losing my mind over it. It had effected my social and sexual life

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The smell in the vaginal area can be due to slight changes in the vaginal flora.

This does not cause excessive discharge, itching or burning. However, you may need lactic acid treatment.

I will suggest you consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally and get appropriate treatment timely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
