How Can Hair Loss After Discontinuing Dexorange, Keraglo And Vitamin-D Be Treated?
Hi, I am 26 years old and have a severe hair loss since long time now. It started 5 years ago. But now it has become very thin and I don t see any hair regrown happening. I have consulted a doctor earlier before 2 years and used dexorange, keraglo tablets and vitamin d tablets for approx 3 months and I found my regrowing. But as soon as I have stopped used the medicines my hair started falling back. Please suggest.
Hello and Welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Perhaps you have androgenic alopecia. It is characterized by gradual thinning as well as hair loss manifesting as a reduced hair volume mainly from the front, mid and vertex part of the scalp. There may also be a receding anterior hair line in males with androgenetic alopecia, but the hair line is much the same in females. If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to use Minoxidil 5%solution, twice daily. Along with that I usually also recommend my patients to take an oral antiandrogen like Finasteride.
Hope I have answered your query.
