How Can Hearing Loss Caused By Trauma Be Treated?

i got slapped in the face last week and cannot hear out of my left ear still. i went to urgent care he said he cannot see my eardrum is repurted unless it was very small.They advised me to take sudaphed for congestion and nothing has worked.i still cannot hear that well out my left ear but there is no pain. what should i do next? Should i let it naturally heal or ...?

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you
continue sudaphed ,
Decongestant nasal drops 3 drop thrice daily &
Steam Inhalation twice daily .

Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
