How Can Hoarseness After Using Pirinase Nasal Spray Be Treated?

I used to take Pirenase nasal spray for the last 7 years and every year I experienced hoarseness in voice soon after taking the spray. The hoarseness lasted months and 2 years ago, my voice got very bad and didn’t come back for more than 2 years. I have severe hay fever and I am very scared to use this spray again. I am a singer and don’t want to compromise my voice! Pls advise.

Hello,

Hoarseness of voice could be because of Laryngitis like Larynx inflammation. It's advisable to examine your Larynx through indirect laryngoscopy examination. It will help in rule out singer'nodule like lesion if present. Without doctor advise repeated use of fluticasone nasal spray not indicated.
