underweight.1000 kcal diet is not sufficient for you. you atleast require 2000 kcal diet.
you can put on weight unless you dont suffer from any gastric problems like frequent bowels,
Ibs or any digestive disorders
Split your meals into 5 times a day.
Include cereals and starches like rice, chapathi, breads, pasta, macaroni ,potatoes ,One in each meal with
proteins like egg, pulses , beans, cheese, chicken, lean meat.
Include 3 servings of milk products in a day like milk, curds, buttermilk.
Consume 3 -4 servings of fruits and vegetables daily.
Use healthy fats like olive oil, canola oil, groundnut oil, almonds, walnuts, cashewnuts as it helps in increasing weight.
Limit your consumption of fats like butter , cream , ghee, mayonnaise, lard as it can increase your
cholesterol.
Join gym do some muscle building exercises.
Well balanced diet itself is sufficient enough to make you gain weight.Try with the above guidelines first ,you will put on soon.
