How Can I Lose Weight Permanently?

After my first delivery 12 y.ago I have tried to loose 20 kgs extra without any success.My body only reacts to acupunture but when I stop I gain again.I gain very easily but cant loose weight.why? how can I help my body to have a quick metabolism? YYYY@YYYY

To lose weight you would need to alter your diet and level of activity.

In terms of activity, at least 150 minutes a week of exercise is normally recommended. A combination of aerobics and strength training would be best.

In terms of diet changes, there are different types of diet plans, the main ones are low fat/low calorie diet and low carbohydrate diet.
In general the weight loss from both is similar though there is faster initial loss with the low carbohydrate diet.

You can find menus and examples of meals of one of these plans online or you can speak to a nutritionist. It would be important to stick to the diet chosen.
