Postpone or initiate your periods?
It seems you want contraception with menstrual bleeding. I would suggest hormonal contraception (estrogen + progestin): Oral, Patch or Ring Contraception. Since lactation is well established and that baby should be having another diet by now there is no risk of milk composition/quantity changes.
