Hallow Dear,
Some amount of semen does flow out of the vagina after intercourse; however it is very little in amount. The total semen is about 5 ml of which less than a ml flows out. It is physiological.
In fact the semen that initially comes out from the penis inside the vagina comes in spurts and goes directly inside the
uterus. Most of the times, this part of the semen is responsible for fertilizing the ovum. The remaining part of the semen passively leaks out from the penis inside the vagina.
If the penis is withdrawn while it is hard, it acts as a piston in a syringe and pulls out more semen. In fact, penis should never be pulled out of the vagina, it should come out passively as it becomes placid. Then the amount of semen leaking out would be less.
For your conception problem, please get ensured that you are ovulating normally. You can find this out by
ultrasonography. Please report to your Gynaecologist who will assess the patency of your reproductory tract and your partner's semen also.
You may plan your sexual relations on or around the day of ovulation.
I hope this clarifies your doubts. For more exhaustive and detailed guidance, you may ask me Direct question.
