How Can Impaired Vision After A Cataract Surgery Be Treated?

I had cataract surgery about 5 or more years ago. My vision never seemed to improve after the surgery. Example at night I can not see to my left or right when I make turns. I can very easily go over a curb when making turns. I also have type 1 diabetics and am 74 years of age. Anything I can do?

with type one diabetis you might have developed diabetic retinopathy. fundus examinations to be done to exclude it microaneurism and petichial hemohrage is to be noted preoperative proper evaluation of visual acuity has not been done now consult diabetologist for advise on control of diabetes by medication and dieat control. glycolated hemoglobin can be done for monitoring proper blood sugarmonitouring field tracing should be done it appears field ofvisionhave been effected. iot may be measured to exclude tunnel vision management of diabetes is most important field tracing is to be done and endocrinologist be consulted.
