How Can Infected Ingrown Hair On The Skin Be Treated?

Good day, I m having a infected boil inwhich a lot of hair is coming out of it. It is constantly bleeding and has been for 2 weeks. I ve tried applying neosporin twice everyday but hasn t been really affective. Please let me know what I should do next.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history, you are having folliculitis. My treatment advice is:

1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
