Hello,

When you have tubal block on one side the first step is to confirm the patency of the other tube by either HSG or diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy.

After confirmation of the patency you need to be ideally put on ovulation induction medication and need follicular monitoring.

The problem here is the chances of pregnancy would be higher only if follicles develop in the ovary on the side where the Fallopian tube is patent.

If the follicles r growing in the other side the chances of pregnancy are relatively less as transmigration of oocyte is less common and if this does not work or if both tubes are blocked, then I would suggest you to go for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Avanti Sathineedi
