How Can Insomnia Be Treated With Medicine In The Elderly Apart From Lorazepam?
I am a 69 year old post menopausal woman. Have had sleeping problem since I went though menopause. My Dr had me on Lorazapam for many years, with no side affects or problems. Now she will not prescribe it any longer. WE tried other sleep meds. Nothing works as Lorazapam has. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I suggest you to hear relaxation music during full night which helps for deep sleep. If still you have insomnia I advise you to take tablet Alprazolam OD (once daily after food). Hope your doubts are cleared
