How Can Irritation In The Genital Area Be Treated?

My husband scrubbed with Chlorhexodine as he was told to from the neck down for his surgery tomorrow. After the shower we had sex.. not thinking about him just scrubbing with that and now my private are feels slightly irritated. Anything I need to do or should be worried about?

Avoid sprays & douches wash with plain water. No, nothing to worry. Do not use harsh clothing detergents & abstain from sex for some time. You can take Antihistamines for relieve. Avoid anything that triggers the reaction. Drink plenty of water. It should get better. However if you still have problem, visit ER & get examined you may have to go for blood tests.
