Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can Issues With Controlling One S Urine At Night Be Treated?
my 85 year old dad has creatinine levels of 131 umol/L. For the past few weeks he has trouble controlling his bladder at night. My mom has to get up and change the bed every night around 4 am. His PSA test is 1.033. Any help would be appreciated. All other blood work is ok.
He should be evaluated for BPH. Ultrasound of abdomen with prostate and post void residue should be done. His sugar fasting and post prandial needs to be checked. If BPH is confirmed, medical therapy should be started as age is advanced.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pinal Vaghasiya, General & Family Physician
