How Can Itchy Insect Bites On The Legs And Arms Be Treated?

Recently, I was in a practice football field with very short grass at night. I felt bugs on me, but I thought that they were just gnats. However, the next morning I woke up with bites all over my legs, ankles, feet, and even a few on my arms. They aren’t always itchy (but when they are it’s only one spot and it’s very itchy) and they don’t look like mosquito bites. There are literally hundreds of them on me. It’s been a week since I got them and they haven’t gone away.

Hi,

You can take antihistamines such as Pheneramine for symptomatic relief. Apply steroid/antibiotics combination such as Betamethasone/Neosporin ointment also. If symptoms persist, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
