How Can Itchy Skin Under The Arms And Hands Be Treated?

I have had an itchy skin problem for 4-5 months now. It started under my arms then moved to my chest & neck & now its on my arms and hands. I have also started having a feeling of dread in my chest. I have also noticed that I feel really stiff when I get up out of the chair at work. I don't know if these things are related.
