How Can Leg Pain Caused By Thecal Sac Compression Be Reduced?
Hi My father who is 63 year old had thecal compression (pain in left leg) 10 years ago. He is currently having similar pain in right leg now...Currently he is in US. can you please advise any over the counter medicine that could reduce his pain..and also any massaging or exercises that he should do..Also advice if hot pack or cold pack can be used..for temporary relief..
Good evening. It is very difficult to get over the counter medications in us. He is probably having radiculopathy and he needs to avoid lifting any heavy objects. Ask him to consult a physiotherapist for some heat massage. You can use ice cold packs as well. If he can manage to get pregabalin there that would help his nerve symptoms . but he needs to be careful with posture Nd shifting luggage there so it doesn't get exaggerated.hope the information was useful
