How Can Mucus In Throat And Low Fever Be Treated In An Infant?
my daughter is now two weeks old alem with and we have had a constant problem with mucus in her throat. the doctors at the hospital said that is because my fluid was low but that it would go away after a few days but now it has been over a week and she is getting worse rather then better. she is not able to eat and is now running a low grade temp. what should i do? she cant eat or sleep and i am getting worried
Mucus in throat is normal for babies and we need not worry if baby is active, there is no cough or breathing difficulty and feeding well. Now, if there is fever and baby is not taking feeds, kindly get her examined with your doctor without any delay as new born babies may become sick rapidly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
