How Can Muffled Hearing And Tinnitus Be Treated While Suffering From An Ear Congestion?
My ear wax is liquid which then hardens and crusts over causing a lot of irritation both in the liquid form and the crusted periods. I also will have times when I can tell that it has hardened further into the ear canals which I think causes my hearing to be muffled, ear pain, ringing in my ears and clogged eustation tubes and pain radiating from my ears down my neck behind my ears.

Your symptoms suggestive of impacted wax problem in ear. There might be associated inflammation as well. Your otoscopy ear examination is needed. If impacted wax present then doctor will prescribe you ear drops to loosen wax in ear for 5 days.
Then doctor will remove wax through syringing. I suggest you consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination.

You may be suffering from otitis externa with eustachian tube block. It may be due to Infection of external auditory canal or ASOM. Avoid inserting objects into auditory canal. You may use de-wax ear drops in case of your tympanic membrane intact.
You may check for tonscillitis or pharygitis or allergic eustachian tube block. Use tablet Levocetrizine twice a day for five days after food. Avoid cool'drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and alcohol. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
