How Can Nerve Pain In The Lower Back And Thighs Be Treated?
I am a 66 yrs. old and got my first outburst of shingles 8 months ago. While the worse is over, I continue to have nerve pain along my lower back and thigh. Lower back sores continue to erupt in a lesser degree however, there is always one or two present. The Lidocaine Ointment helps in that area. My doctor claims its unpredictable and can last a long time! My 67th birthday is approaching and retirement has not be pleasant! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank You, Granny V.
Hello for how long this pain? is there any past history of trauma? do you have osteoporosis before? have you been affected by any disease in the past like Tuberculosis? Are you using any medications now and what is it?
I hope to do the following investigations 1- Vitamin D and Calcium Levels. 2- MRI of Lumbosacral spines 3-CBC, ESR and CRP
