How Can Nerve Spasms Be Managed While On Pramipexole?

Hello. I have had what my dr calls restless leg syndrome. Was prescribed pramipraxole.......low dose. Lately, have not been taking it regularly, but nerve spasms seem to have gotten worse. This contributes to insomnia, anxiety. Also, I feel cold all the time...suggestions? My own research (eye roll) suggests iron deficiency, which last year's physical also suggested, so taking iron supplement.

Hello,

Restless leg syndrome may be due to anxiety or anaemia or excessive caffeine or alcohol intake or electrolyte imbalance etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Do regular exercise and correct your haemoglobin status with iron tablets supplementation.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
