How Can Nervousness, Social Anxiety, Relationships And Social Interactions Be Improved?
To start with I am 19 years old and male. When I was 14 I started being quite social but after problems at home I have spent excessive amounts of time on my own. Now, whenever I try to speak to girls, or new people in general, I get extremely nervous and obsess over it for days. I am really struggling with social anxiety and it is ruining my life, I hear stuff like go out more or volunteer , but both of these are impossible for me because the only people I am friends with live far away, and extra work is too much because I am currently studying in college. Any advice on what I can do will be duly welcomed.

Terming it social phobia or social anxiety can give you negative thinking and loss in self confidence. Before calling it by that name, please do not worry about it.
