How Can One Address Penis Irritation And Pain Post Ureter Stone Surgery, Including Pimples And Redness?
Hi, I had a surgery of ureter stone 10 days before. Now I am suffering from irritation and feeling some pain on my penis. Firstly I thought that it may be due to stent. After searching on internet, I had started to clean my penis twice a day for good hygiene. Dr. Please suggest me a particular treatment for that. I has some pimples and redness on my penis with tearing of white skin.
Your symptoms are indicative of infection. Pimples and rashes are due to hygiene that is being compromised. Get a follow up clinical examination by your Surgeon to rule out complications other than infections. You will be treated with an oral course of antibiotics, and pain-relieving medications. If you have developed some complication, like another stone or narrowing of the ureter, you will be treated for it accordingly.
Take care of your hygiene. If you are infected, the stent may be required to be removed and replaced by a new one if required. Take adequate quantity of water and fluids. Stay at rest and avoid strenuous exercises.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
