How Can One Alleviate Abdominal Pain Caused Due To The Presence Of A Mass In The Upper Left Quadrant?
Good afternoon, I am a RN but I have a palpable large abdominal mass in my upper left quadrant. I am experiencing some constipation as evidenced by 1-3 bowel movements per week. My PCP confirmed this mass and ordered a CT scan. I have a CT scan appt. next week. Can I wait. Today I am experiencing pain in that area. What should I do.

How Can One Alleviate Abdominal Pain Caused Due To The Presence Of A Mass In The Upper Left Quadrant?
Hello, As long as you have bowel movements and do not throw up, you are OK. For pain relief, try aspirin and Tylenol and if that does not work, try Tramadol. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
