I am married for 3 years and trying to conceive. I had lots of treatment including ovacare, deviry tablets. placentrex injection and ovulation study. I also had D and C once just to clear the uterus. In my last cycle, I had ovulation study, which revealed PCOD. Then also my doctor was not concerned about my PCOD and suggested hcg 10000 IU injection when my endometrium lining was 7mm and right ovarian follicle was aprox 18mm..are there any chances of conceiving in this cycle. should I continue with deviry tablets. as prescribed by my doctor one tablet at night till you get your period..Thanks
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service'. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
HCG injection usually helps in releasing of ovum from follicle when the ovarian follicle reaches around 2 cms size. Deviry is progesterone tablet which helps in implantation and continuation if pregnancy occurs. So, this time you can continue the treatment as advised by your doctor. If you get periods this time, better to get treated for PCOS and later plan for pregnancy, as due to hormonal imbalance, PCOS can affect fertility.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
